That’s what you’ll find at Nambucca Preschool. An affordable, not for profit community preschool, for children 3 – 5 years of age. We’re run by a team of long serving, highly qualified staff and managed by a dedicated voluntary parent committee.
We’re known for quality education and for the warm, enduring bonds we form with every family who walks through our doors. Because caring for children, supporting their individual needs, and watching them thrive is our passion.

Our program is nurturing, educational and fun
Children love coming to Nambucca Preschool. Because our quality education program, based on the Early Years Leaning Framework, stimulates your child’s curiosity and creativity, and creates confident learners.
You’ll find a warm, friendly and inclusive environment at Nambucca Preschool where children can develop at their own pace. Our play-based and intentional learning is fun, educational and inspiring, focused on your child’s areas of interest. So they’re readily engaged and excited about learning.
Plus, our well thought out indoor and outdoor play areas encourage a love of learning, support your child’s needs, including those with disabilities or special needs, and prepare them well for school. We celebrate children’s cultural diversities and differences, enabling them to be themselves, while also encouraging them to try new things.
It works beautifully. And has done so for 45 years since opening our doors in 1979.
Our strong sense of community begins with our parents, and extends to the residents of Nambucca Valley who have always supported our Preschool and its children.
Our parent community is integral to our Centre. We value parent input and work closely with them to truly understand the needs and interests of each child. We warmly welcome their involvement to share skills, expertise or time with the children.
Nambucca Preschool encourages regular connections with the Nambucca Valley community. Excursions, fundraising activities and family events at our preschool create a sense of belonging and true community spirit among every child.
